Mabrouk aleikoum Djazair!!!

بِسْــــــــــــــــــــــمِ اﷲِارَّحْمَنِ ارَّحِيم
السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته

A very BIG ALIF ALIF Mabrouk to the Algerian soccer team for the win in Sudan against the Egyptian team ... making them now qualified to go the 2010 World Cup in South Africa! Extra extra cheers for the victory and sollidarity of the Algerians during the past incidences involving the Algerian's team attack in Cairo and all the happenings after! My son Normally, I am nor my husband are soccer fans but the nostaglia has caught us too somehow! Maybe it is all the solidarity and nationalism ... or just plain feelings going around! I made simply little soccer players beignets gingerbread flavoured for my children and the neighbourhood children ... was not so appealing maybe in their looks but the children sure enjoyed them!

After watching the match, even ater 10 minutes of it ending you could hear roaring fans wailing songs of joy in the streets. The family and I took a walk around my neighbourhood ... I share now with all of my friends in the Blogosphere the celebrations just in my small corner of Algeria!!! You can imagine how it is elsewhere in larger areas! It is after midnight and still voices going loud from the streets!
Vive l'Algérie!!!!
Scences from my little neighbourhood:
But finally, elhamdullah the matches are over! Surely, the craze will continue ... but enchallah our focuses will be on more important issues like Hajj and Eid kebir (which is just around the corner)!
Peace and blessing everyone!
