السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته
We haven't had a Picture Postcard in a while. So here's something fun to celebrate being a little girl and passing down of tradition.
Let me introduce you to Algerian Barbie or as I like to call her Casbah Barbie. We snapped these up at the
Salon International de l'Artisanat Traditionnel in Alger in a booth displaying dolls dressed in traditional Algerian clothing. I wish they had these for sell I'd buy them for my daughters. Don't you just love them?
Caftan El-Bey, Ghlila & Karkou - Traditional Algerian Dresses
Traditional Algerian Karakou
El henna - traditional henna ceremony
Gandoura - Traditional Algerian Dress
hope that made your weekend. How does your favorite barbie look?
